Darren Criss festeggia i 10 anni dal suo debutto in “Glee” con qualcosa di molto speciale

Sono passati dieci anni dal primo episodio di Darren Criss in "Glee"!

L'attore aveva debuttato nel ruolo di Blaine Anderson durante la sesta puntata della seconda stagione intitolata "Il primo bacio" ed aveva eseguito una memorabile versione di "Teenage Dream" di Katy Perry. Allora aveva 23 anni.

Oggi di anni ne ha 33 e ha ricordato questa ricorrenza postando due foto throwback con la divisa dell'Accademia Dalton.

Today marks the 10 year anniversary of my first appearance on Glee as Blaine Anderson in the episode “Never Been Kissed.” And while a number of you by that point may have already been pretty familiar with me as a totally awesome boy wizard or a Disney song nerd from the internet stage, no one can deny that Glee’s world presence catapulted my life to an entirely different level, and gave my career the opportunity to carry on in the way it’s been able to for the past decade. ⁣ ⁣ And it all happened through a literal song and dance that I could not be more proud of and grateful for. So whether you’re a Glee fan from back in the day, continue to re-watch it, or watching it now for the first time, thank you for allowing Blaine into your life. People always tell me how Glee changed their life, and I’m always happy to remind them how yeah, it changed mine too. And how they, and you reading this, are a part of that. So thank you. ⁣ ⁣ But words and throwback pictures can only say so much.⁣ ⁣ So to celebrate this milestone, I’m gonna give some of that love and appreciation back and throw a livestream concert entirely for charity benefiting a variety of good causes in need during this insane year. I’m calling it DEC•AID, and I’ll be sharing songs, stories, and never-before-seen content from those good ol’ Glee days. I’ll even be auctioning off some special personal items to see if we can raise some extra dough!⁣ ⁣ This is something I’ve been wanting to do for a very long time, but just needed the right occasion. And between today’s anniversary, the holidays coming up, and the general sense of hope now in the air, the timing felt right. The show will be live on Saturday, November 28th, at 1pm PST. Nella didascalia, ha raccontato come quel momento e in generale la serie gli abbiano cambiato la vita: "La presenza di Glee a livello mondiale ha catapultato la mia vita a un altro livello, ha dato alla mia carriera l'opportunità di andare avanti così come è andata nell'ultimo decennio".

"Ed è successo tutto attraverso una canzone e una coreografia di cui non potrei essere più orgoglioso e grato. Che tu sia una fan di Glee della prima ora e continui a rivederlo, o che tu lo stia guardando ora per la prima volta, grazie per aver permesso a Blaine di entrare nella tua vita. Le persone mi dicono sempre come Glee abbia cambiato le loro vite e io sono sempre felice di ricordare loro che sì, ha cambiato anche la mia di vita. E come loro, e tu che stai leggendo questo, ne fate parte. Quindi grazie".

Darren Criss ha quindi annunciato un'iniziativa speciale per festeggiare l'anniversario. Si tratta di un concerto in livestream che ha chiamato DEC•AID e che puoi vedere attraverso il suo sito sabato 28 novembre . 

"Condividerò canzoni, storie e contenuti mai visti prima dai bei vecchi giorni di Glee. Metterò anche all'asta alcuni oggetti personali" ha spiegato.

La cosa migliore è che il ricavato andrà in beneficenza: "A diverse cause che hanno bisogno in questo pazzo anno. Era una cosa che volevo fare da tanto, ma avevo bisogno della giusta occasione".

Il momento è arrivato!
