La prima raccolta dei successi dell'artista canadese risale al 2018, anno di uscita di "The Weeknd in Japan".
"The Highlights" sarà pubblicato solo un paio di giorni prima dell'esibizione di The Weeknd all'halftime show del Super Bowl 2021.
L'evento si terrà al James Stadium di Tampa Bay, in Florida, domenica 7 febbraio.
