È stata una grande notte per Lady Gaga agli MTV VMA 2020!
Mother Monster si è portata a casa cinque tra i Moon Person più prestigiosi, a cominciare da Artist of The Year!
Grazie alla collaborazione con Ariana Grande su "Rain On Me" (si sono anche esibite, guarda qui la performance!) ha vinto un sacco di altri premi, come Song of The Year e Best Collaboration.
Gaga è anche la prima vincitrice della storia del TriCon Award e durante il suo discorso ha mandato un forte messaggio di amore e gentilezza verso gli altri: "Questo è stato un anno difficile per tutti, ma ciò che vedo è che nel mondo il coraggio trionfa. Spero che le persone a casa, quelle con grandi sogni, mi vedano qui e capiscano quantoio sia grata per tutto questo successo. E voglio che sappiate che anche voi potete raggiungere obiettiviimmensi. Anche se adesso siamo separati, e la cultura sembra meno viva, so che un Rinascimento staarrivando".
A The Weeknd è andato il Video of The Year con "Blinding Lights" e ritirando il premio ha chiesto: "Giustizia per Jacob Blake e giustizia per Breonna Taylor".
Tra gli altri vincitori, Machine Gun Kelly ha guadagnato il suo primo Moon Person come Best Alternative con "Bloody Valentine", i BTS quello di Best Group per il secondo anno di fila. I Bangtan Boys hanno trionfato anche in tante altre categorie, una su tutte Best Pop. E ancora Justin Bieber, Maluma, Doja Cat, Miley Cyrus!
